RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW on amendments and additions to the criminal code and the code of criminal procedure of the RSFSR, adopted by the State Duma May 17, 2001 year approved by the Federation Council of the year June 6, 2001 (as amended by the Federal law dated 08.12.2003 No 162-FZ), Article 1. Supplementing the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (collection of laws of the Russian Federation, 1996, no. 25, text 2954; 1998, N 22, art. 2332; N 26, art. 3012; 1999, N 7, art. 873) article 215-2 as follows: "article 215-2. The destruction of vital infrastructure 1. Destruction, damage or otherwise in poor condition to operate energy projects, telecommunications, housing and public utilities or other life-support facilities, if these acts are committed for mercenary or hooliganism, punishable by a fine amounting to between 700 to 1,000 times the minimum wage or the equivalent of the salary or other income of the convicted person for a period ranging from seven months to one year or by corrective labour for a period of one to two years, or deprivation of liberty for a term of one to three years.
2. The same acts committed: a) a group of persons acting in conspiracy;
(Seventh paragraph of ineffective-the Federal law dated 08.12.2003 No 162-FZ)) a person using his official position, shall be punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term of three to five years and a fine of up to fifty times the minimum wage or the equivalent of the salary or other income of the convicted person for a period up to one month or not.
3. The acts referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 of this article that due to negligence have led to the death of a person or other serious consequences, shall be punishable by deprivation of liberty from three to eight years and a fine of up to fifty times the minimum wage or the equivalent of the salary or other income of the convicted person for a period up to one month either. ".
Article 2. Article 126 of the code of criminal procedure of the RSFSR (Gazette of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, 1960, no. 40, p. 592; Collection of laws of the Russian Federation, 1996, no. 52, art. 5881; 1998, N 30, art. 3613; 1999, N 28, art. 3491; 2000, N 16, art. 1641) the following changes and additions: part three "215-217" replace numerals "215, 215-1, 216, 217";
part the fifth, after the words "part 3 of 213," to complement the figures "215-2".
Article 3. This federal law shall enter into force on the day of its official publication.
