RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW On the budget of the Federal Fund for Mandatory Health Insurance for 2002 Adopted by the State Duma on 13 December 2001 Approved by the Federation Council on December 26, 2001 09.06.2003 N 68-FZ Article 1. To approve the budget of the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund (hereinafter the Fund) for 2002 on income in the amount of $3,970.0 million. The total cost of the project is estimated at over $3 billion. The total amount of investment in the project is estimated as 19.2 billion rubles. -Ruble. Article 2. A total of $248.0 million of the Fund's financial resources for 2002 will be established. -Ruble. These funds shall be reserved for critical situations with the financing of compulsory health insurance programmes and shall not be free of funds. The financial resources of the Fund are rationalised in the manner determined by the Board of the Fund. Article 5: It may be established that up to 10 per cent of the Fund's financial resources for the financial equalization of the activities of the territorial funds of compulsory health insurance under the basic compulsory health insurance scheme may To be used by the Foundation for the financing of regional targeted programmes for the protection of mothers and children. To establish that funds received in 2002 for the Fund's budget in excess of the amounts set out in this Federal Act are aimed at equalizing the financial conditions of the activities of the territorial funds of compulsory health insurance in the framework of the Fund. Basic programme of compulsory health insurance, financing of regional targeted programmes for the protection of mothers and children, as well as funding of targeted medical assistance programmes for compulsory health insurance in the the size determined by the Board of the Fund.
