RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW on amendments to article 7 of the law of the Russian Federation "on provision of pensions of persons held in the military service in internal affairs bodies, institutions and in the penal system, and their families", adopted by the State Duma November 22, 2000 year approved by the Federation Council November 24, 2000 year Article 1. To amend Part II, article 7 of the law of the Russian Federation from February 12, 1993 N 4468-I "on provision of pensions of persons held in the military service in internal affairs bodies, institutions and in the penal system, and their families" (Gazette of the Congress of people's deputies of the Russian Federation and the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Federation, 1993, N 9, p. 328; collection of laws of the Russian Federation, 1995, no. 49 , art. 4693; 1998, N 30, art. 3613; 1999, no. 23, art. 2813), describing it as follows: "the wives of the persons referred to in article 1 of this law, who died in the war with Finland, the great patriotic war, war with Japan that have not entered into a new marriage, are entitled to survivor's pension for the deceased husband regardless of their receipt of another retirement.".
Article 2. The costs referred to in article 1 hereof shall be made at the expense of the federal budget.
Article 3. The President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation to bring its normative acts in compliance with this federal law.
Article 4. This federal law shall enter into force on January 1, 2001 year.
