The Federal Law On Amendments and Additions to the Federal Law "On Science and State Science and Technology Policy" Adopted by the State Duma 6 December 2000 Approved by the Federation Council on 20 December 2000 (In the wording of Federal Law of 22.08.2004 N 122-FZArticle 1. To the Federal Law of 23 August 1996 N 127-FZ "On science and state science and technology policy" (Legislative Assembly of the Russian Federation Federation, 1996, N 35, sect. 4137; 1998, N 51, sect. 6271) the following changes and additions: 1. In Article 4: add new paragraphs 2 and 3 to read: " 2. The Unified Register of the State system for attestation of degrees and academic degrees, as well as the procedure for awarding degrees or conferee of degrees, is established by the Government of the Russian Federation. The register is valid throughout the territory of the Russian Federation. 3. The right to award diplomas awarded by the State system for the certification of academic degrees, and the right to issue certificates attesting to the attribution of the qualifications of the State system for certification of academic qualifications "specially authorized by the Government of the Russian Federation to the Federal Executive."; paragraphs 2 to 7 should be read as paragraphs 4 to 9, respectively. 2. In article 15, paragraph 7: the first paragraph after the word "state" to add "(including federal)"; (Spaced by Federal Law from 22.08.2004. N 122-FZ) N 122-FZ) Article 2. The President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation shall bring their regulatory legal acts into conformity with this Federal Law. Article 3.
