Federal Law On Amendments and Additions to the Federal Law "On Insurance Pledges to the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation" OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION Approved by the Federation Council on 17 March 1999 Article 1. Article 2 of the Federal Law "On insurance premiums in the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation" State Employment Fund of the Russian Federation and the Mandatory Health Insurance Funds for 1998" (Legislative Assembly of the Russian Federation, 1998, N 2, art. (225) the following amendments and additions: 1) to be supplemented with a new part of the second and parts of the third and fourth content: "Part One of Article 1 of the Federal Law" OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION " (b) for individual entrepreneurs, including foreign citizens, private detectives dealing with the private practice of notaries, as well as for peasant (farm) holdings, patrimony, family, of the indigenous minorities of the North, which are engaged in traditional economic activities, in the amount of 20.6 per cent of their income. ". Article 1 (d) of the Federal Act OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION (710) Amend to read as follows: " (e) for nationals (natural persons) working under employment contracts, as well as receiving remuneration under civil law treaties, the subject matter of which is the performance of the works and the provision of 1 per cent of payments assessed in favour of the said citizens on all grounds, irrespective of the source of funding. "Article 1 of the Federal Act" OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION (710) The words "28 per cent" should be replaced by the words "20.6 per cent"; , 2), to read Part Two as Part Two, respectively. Article 2. To establish that the sum of the insurance contributions overpaid in 1998, as well as the penalties collected for each day of the arrears of such contributions, and the amounts paid for the period from 1 January 1997 to 10 February 1997 at The Pension Fund of the Russian Federation is to be set off against future payments of insurance premiums of individual entrepreneurs engaged in private practice of notaries and lawyers. The return of the funds referred to in part one of this article to the payers whose activities have been terminated as of the date of entry into force of this Federal Act are made on the basis of statements made by the persons concerned.
