Spconsumed by Federal Law of 22.08.2004 N 122-FZ RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW On the benefits of long-distance transport for children needing in health resort treatment Adopted by the State Duma on 3 April 1998 Approved by the Federation Council on 20 May 1998 Article 1. Facilities for the travel of children in need to health resort treatment 1. The right to a 50 per cent discount on long-distance travel costs per year to the place of treatment and back within the Russian Federation is granted to children up to the age of 18 who require treatment at sanatoriy-spa treatment The conclusion of public and municipal health care institutions with tours to sanatorium or resort organizations, irrespective of their form of ownership and living in families, whose per capita income does not exceed the minimum subsistence level established in the constituent entity of the Russian Federation THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION 2. The benefits referred to in paragraph 1 of this article shall apply to one of the parents (the person acting in its stead), accompanying the child to the place of treatment and back. 3. Travel benefits are provided by rail (trains and wagons of all categories except for company trains, high comfort wagons), water (category III), road (public), and Aviation (economic class) in the absence of rail transport. Article 2. The financing of expenses provided for in this Federal Law The financing of expenses provided for by this Federal Act is financed from the federal budget. Article 3. The procedure for granting privileges to travel intercity transport The procedure for granting benefits for long-distance travel of persons referred to in article 1 of this Federal Act shall be determined by the Government of the Russian Federation.
