RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW on amendments and additions to the family code of the Russian Federation adopted by the State Duma on June 19, 1997 year approved by the Federation Council November 5, 1997 year Article 1. In connection with the adoption of the Federal law "on acts of civil status" to amend the family code of the Russian Federation (collection of laws of the Russian Federation, 1996, no. 1, item 16) the following amendments and supplements: 1. The first paragraph of paragraph 2 of article 13 shall be amended as follows: "If there are valid reasons for the local self-government bodies at the place of residence of the persons wishing to marry, at the request of the persons concerned have the right to authorize persons to marry who have reached the age of sixteen years ".
2. Article 48: in paragraph 1, the words "civil registry authority" should be deleted;
paragraph 3 should be deleted;
paragraphs 4 and 5 take 3 points and 4 respectively.
3. In article 59, paragraph 1, the words "sixteen years" were replaced by the words "fourteen years".
4. Article 73 shall be amended with paragraph 6 to read as follows: "6. The Court is obliged, within three days from the date of entry into force of the court verdict on restriction of parental rights to transmit an extract from this Court's decision in the civil registry of the child's birth place.
5. Article 160, paragraph 3 shall be amended as follows: "3. The dissolution of a marriage between citizens of the Russian Federation or the dissolution of a marriage between citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign citizens or stateless persons, committed outside the territory of the Russian Federation in compliance with the legislation of the foreign State on the competence of bodies taking decisions on the dissolution of the marriage, and be applied in divorce law is valid in the Russian Federation."
Article 2. This federal law shall enter into force on the day of its official publication.
