Overtaken by force-Federal Law 13/06/96 N 64-FZ (from 1 January 1997) RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW On Amendments and Additions to the Criminal Code of the RSFSR , adopted by the State Duma 5 October 1994 Article 1. Amend the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (Bulletin of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, 1960, N 40, art. 591; 1971, N 25, sect. 507; 1982, N 49, sect. 1821; 1987, N 36, sect. 1295; Congress of People's Deputies of the RSFSR and Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, 1992, N 47, st. 2664) the following changes and additions: 1. In the title and text of Article 115-2, replace the word "AIDS" with the word "HIV". 2. Supplement Article 128-1 as follows: " Article 1281. Disclosure of information constituting medical confidentiality Disclosure of doctor-patient information by a person to whom this information has become known in connection with the performance of his or her official duties or professional duties,- shall be punished by corrective labour for up to two years, or a fine of up to fifty times the minimum wage, or the deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities for a period of between one and three years. The same action, if the injured person suffered significant material or moral harm or other serious consequences- shall be punished by imprisonment for a term of up to two years or by punitive deduction of earnings. The same period of deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of one to five years or not. ". 3. Article 222 should read as follows: " Article 222. Violation of the rules established for the control of the spread of infectious diseases and poisoning people Violation of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Regulations if it causes mass transmission of infectious diseases of diseases other than HIV, or mass poisoning or the risk of the same consequences,- is punishable by up to three years ' imprisonment or a fine of up to 50 times the minimum wage Deprienation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in labour A certain activity for a period of one to three years or without one. The same acts resulting in the death of the victim or HIV infection- are punishable by deprivation of liberty for a period of two to seven years, with disqualification to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of one to five years or without. The same acts that cause death or HIV infection of several persons- are punishable by deprivation of liberty for a period of between 5 and 12 years, with disqualification to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities from one year to five years or without it.
