Citizens leaving for permanent residence outside the Russian Federation are paid the amount of pensions (regardless of the type of pension) in the Russian rouble six months in advance. Article 2. On the basis of a written statement by a citizen leaving for permanent residence outside the Russian Federation, the amount of the pension granted may be transferred abroad in foreign currency at the rate of the rouble to be determined.
