RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW On ratification of the Fourth Additional Protocol to the European Convention on Extradition Adopted by the State Duma on 17 February 2017 Approved by the Federation Council on March 1, 2017 Article 1 Article 1 ratify the Fourth Additional Protocol to the European Convention on Extradition, signed on behalf of the Russian Federation in Strasbourg on February 24, 2015. of the year (hereinafter referred to as the Protocol) with the following reservations: " 1) The Russian Federation reserves the right not to apply the provisions of article 10, paragraph 2, of the European Convention on Extradition, as set out in the wording of article 1 of the Protocol, in the cases referred to in article 10, paragraph 3 (a) and (b), of the said Convention; (2) The Russian Federation, in accordance with article 6, paragraph 3, of the Protocol for the purposes of article 12 and article 14, paragraph 1 (a), of the European Convention on Extradition, as set out in the wording of articles 2 and 3 of the Protocol, reserves the right to request originals or certified copies of the request for extradition and accompanying documents; (3) The Russian Federation reserves the right, in accordance with article 21 of the European Convention on Extradition, as set out in article 5 of the Protocol, to authorize foreign States to transit traffic through the territory of the Russian Federation.
