PROTOCOL amending the Agreement between the Government of Romania and The Government of the Republic of Moldova of diplomas, certificates and scientific evidence, granted by accredited educational institutions in Romania and in the Republic of Moldova, signed in Chisinau on 20 June 1998 The Government of Romania and the Government of the Republic of Moldova discussing the intentions of both parties to fine the Agreement between the Government of Romania and the Government of the Republic of Moldova on the mutual recognition of diplomas, certificates and scientific titles, granted by accredited educational institutions in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, signed on 20 June 1998 (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement), with a view to modernising and updating it according to national regulations, wishing to maintain a legal framework allowing the citizens of the Republic of Moldova and Romania to recognize diplomas, certificates and scientific titles, Acting, therefore, that it is necessary to introduce amendments to the Agreement in order to avoid incompatibilities, have agreed to conclude the following protocol for the amendment of the Agreement: + Article 1 Article 1 is amended and shall read as follows: "The completion of a period of studies in pre-university education in the Republic of Moldova and in Romania, confirmed by school documents, is mutually recognized, if the duration of studies and curriculum are similar." + Article 2 Article 2 is amended and shall read as follows: " Diplomas or certificates of graduation of a vocational school or of the school of trades in the Republic of Moldova lasting 1-3 years, after graduation of at least 9 classes, and diplomas or certificates of graduation of the vocational school or school of arts and crafts lasting 2-4 years, after the completion of the general school of 8 classes, issued in Romania, they recognize each other for the same profession or related trades, according to the nomenclature of professions and trades. " + Article 3 Article 3 is amended and shall read as follows: " (1) The baccalaureate diplomas from the Republic of Moldova and Romania, obtained from the graduation of 12 classes, are mutually recognized for the same types, fields and profiles of education or similar. These diplomas allow further studies, including higher education. ((2) Graduation diplomas of secondary education institutions with a duration of 10-11 years obtained in the territory of one of the States Parties shall recognize each other with baccalaureate diplomas from the territory of the other Party, on the basis of the principle of law earned, if the diploma in question is accompanied by a diploma of graduation of a bachelor's degree, master's degree or doctoral degree program. (3) The diplomas of graduation of medical colleges (basic medical schools), with a minimum duration of 3 years of studies, after the completion of the general school of 9 years of studies issued on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, is equivalent to baccalaureate diplomas, health profile, from Romania. (4) Graduation diplomas issued by the specialized educational institutions of the Republic of Moldova and the diplomas for the graduation of specialized post-secondary schools in Romania are mutually recognized for similar qualifications, according to the legislation in force on the territory of the two parties. " + Article 4 Article 4 is amended and shall read as follows: " Graduation diplomas issued by colleges that conducted short-term higher education in the Republic of Moldova, after graduating high school education and obtaining baccalaureate diploma or equivalent, and colleges graduation diplomas The 3-year-old university in Romania, obtained before the adoption of the national regulations implementing the Bologna Process, recognize each other on the territory of the + Article 5 Article 5 is amended and shall read as follows: " (1) Higher education diplomas issued by the higher education institutions of the Republic of Moldova, recognized according to the law, prior to the adoption of the national regulations implementing the Bologna Process, and the license diplomas issued by institutions accredited by higher education, prior to the adoption of the national regulations implementing the Bologna Process in Romania, for the duration of identical studies, field and similar profile, are mutually recognized on the territory of the state the other. (3) Professional qualifications giving access to regulated professions in Romania whose curricula is harmonized at European level shall be recognized in the territory of the other party, on a case-by-case basis, depending on the legislation and curriculum national of each party. ' + Article 6 Article 6 is amended and shall read as follows: "" (1) Diplomas and certificates issued by university educational institutions, for accredited specializations in Romania obtained at the graduation of master studies, in-depth studies, postgraduate academic studies, studies specialization and refresher courses, and diplomas issued by recognized institutions in the Republic of Moldova according to the law, for studies of the same type, shall be recognized to each other on the territory of the state of the other party for studies domain and similar profile, number of accumulated transferable credits and curriculum similar national. (2) The recognition of the specializations that lead to obtaining the title of specialist for doctors, dentists and pharmacists is made in compliance with the provisions of art. 10 10.
