The Romanian Parliament adopts this law + Article UNIC Approval Government Ordinance no. 15 15 of 30 January 2008 on wage increases that will be granted in 2008 to education staff, adopted on the basis of art. 1 1 section V. 1 of Law no. 373/2007 on the empowerment of the Government to issue ordinances, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 82 of 1 February 2008, with the following amendments: 1. In Article 1 (1), point a) shall be amended and shall read as follows: "" a) for the position of university professor set out in Annex no. 1.1 the value of the multiplication coefficient 1,000 is as follows: -1 January-31 March 2008, the value of the multiplication coefficient 1,000: 230,247 lei; -April 1-September 30, 2008, the value of the multiplication coefficient 1,000: 244,061 lei, respectively an increase of 6%; -1 October-31 December 2008, the value of the multiplication coefficient 1,000: 400,00 lei, which represents the reference value for subsequent salary increases; ". 2. In Article 1 (1), point b) shall be amended and shall read as follows: " b) the multiplication coefficients provided for teaching positions with the teaching degree II, definitively, debutant, those with high school level studies without specialized training and for auxiliary teaching positions shall be increased by 10% from with 1 January 2008, compared to the level of 31 December 2007; '. 3. In Article 1 (1), point c) shall be amended and shall read as follows: " c) for the teaching functions set out in Annexes no. 1.2, 2 and 3 the value of the multiplication coefficient 1,000 is as follows: -1 January-31 March 2008, the value of the multiplication coefficient 1,000: 259,593 lei; -April 1-September 30, 2008, the value of the multiplication coefficient 1,000: 275,168 lei, respectively an increase of 6%; -October 1-December 31, 2008, the value of the multiplication coefficient 1,000: 400,00 lei, which represents the reference value for subsequent salary increases. " 4. Article 5 is amended and shall read as follows: "" Art. 5. -(1) In the minimum level multiplication coefficients of Annexes no. 1.1 1.1 and 1.2, provided for the last two tranches of recognised seniority of 35-40 years and more than 40 years in education, the increases of 1/20 of the multiplication coefficient corresponding to the previous tranche of seniority, provided for in art. 90 90 para. ((3) of Law no. 128/1997 , with subsequent amendments and completions. (. In the multiplication coefficients of Annex no. 2, provided in the last three tranches of recognized seniority of 30-35 years, 35-40 years and over 40 years in education, are also included the increases of 1/25 of the multiplication coefficient corresponding to the previous tranche of seniority, provided in art. 50 50 para. ((2) of Law no. 128/1997 ,, as amended and supplemented. " 5.
