The Romanian Parliament adopts this law + Article 1 The European Convention on the washing, discovery, seizure and confiscation of proceeds of crime, concluded in Strasbourg on 8 November 1990, is hereby ratified. + Article 2 The following statements shall be made on the occasion of the deposit of the instrument 1. Based on art. 14 14 para. 3 3: " The provision provided for in art. 14 14 para. 2 shall apply subject to the constitutional principles and fundamental concepts of the Romanian legal system. " 2. Based on art. 21 21 para. 2 2: " The notification of the judicial documents will be carried out only through the central authority, which is the Ministry In the case of requests for assistance for cases in the course of criminal prosecution, the notification will be made through the General Prosecutor's Office of the Supreme Court of Justice. " 3. Based on art. 25 25 para. 3 3: "The request addressed to Romania and the documents attached to it will have to be accompanied by a translation into Romanian and one of the official languages of the Council of Europe." 4. Based on art. 32 32 para. 2 2: " The information or evidence provided on the basis of the head. III of the Convention shall not be able to be used or transmitted, without its prior consent, by the authorities of the requesting party, for the purposes of investigations or proceedings other than those specified in the application. " 5. Based on art. 23 23 para. 2 2: " The Romanian central authorities designated to apply the head provisions. III are: Justice Ministry Str. " This law was adopted by the Chamber of Deputies at its meeting on March 19, 2002, in compliance with the provisions of 74 74 para. (1) of the Romanian Constitution.
