Law No. 47/1994 was published in the Official Gazette of Romania, part I, no. 175 of 11 July 1994.

─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ Article 1 (1) to the exercise by the President of Romania has prerogatives which are established by the Constitution and other laws shall be organised and operated presidential administration, a public institution with legal personality, with its headquarters in Bucharest, Cotroceni palace.
  

(2) for the purposes of this Act, through the presidential administration means public services available to the President for fulfilling his duties.
  


Article 2 (1) Compartments and functions of the presidential administration, organization structure, functioning and powers thereof shall be established by the regulation on the organisation and operation of the presidential administration, which shall be approved by the President of Romania.
  

(2) the maximum number of posts to the presidential administration is 260. The funds needed for the additional number of posts ensure the Presidential Administration's budget by 2002 through redeployment from title to title > >. For the additional number of posts authorised for the Chief authorising officer to complete the appendices. 3/01/08 and 3/01/09, approved by the State budget law for the year 2002 No. 743/2001.

Article 3 (1) specific Functions of leadership within the presidential administration are as follows: presidential adviser with the rank of Minister and State Councillor, with the rank of Secretary of State.
  

(2) Presidential Advisor for national defense and security is a member of the Supreme Council of Defense of the country.
  


Article 4 (1) the appointment or dismissal of advisers is made by the President of Romania.
  

(2) the appointment or the issue of the other functions of the presidential administration is done according to the regulation referred to in article 1. 2. Article 5 (1) Presidential Administration Staff consists of detached persons, at the request of the President of Romania, of ministries and other public authorities, as well as of persons falling directly on the functions or posts you are going to meet them.
  

(2) paragraph Staff. (1) can be classified solely on the basis of trust granted by the President of Romania and sign a pledge of loyalty laid down in the regulation referred to in article 1. 2. Withdrawal of confidence-building measures have the effect of revoking their classification, as well as termination of the posting, release or dismissal from Office of the time including termination where appropriate.
  

(3) the provisions of paragraphs 1 and 2. (1) and (2) apply properly and staff affected by the order and guard the Presidential Administration.
  


Article 6 sets the Presidential Administration cooperation relations with public authorities and receiving their support with a view to the exercise of powers and the exercise of the competences of the incumbent President.


Article 7 Financing expenses for the operation of the presidential administration, the State budget and extra-budgetary revenue, completed, managed and accounted for, according to the law.


Article 8 (1) Presidential Administration, in addition to its headquarters, and other spaces can be distributed through the Government's ruling.
  

(2) since 1 January 2002 Controceni Museum works in spaces assigned in the Cotroceni Palace side, as a public institution, subordinated to the presidential administration.

(2 ^ 1) Current and capital expenses of the National Museum in Cotroceni is financed from extra-budgetary income from appropriations from the State budget for the year 2002 Controceni Museum budget is approved by the Chief authorising officer.

(3) the management of the whole complex of the Palace Cotroceni is ensured by the Presidential Administration compartments.
  


Article 9 entry into force of the present law shall repeal the law. 1/1990 on the Organization and functioning of the Romanian Presidency services) and any other provisions to the contrary.
