The Romanian Parliament adopts this law + Article UNIC Approval Government Emergency Ordinance no. 218 218 of 29 December 1999 for amendment Government Emergency Ordinance no. 44/1997 on the suspension of the agricultural income tax, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 647 of 30 December 1999, with the following amendments: 1. The title of the emergency ordinance shall read as follows: " EMERGENCY ORDER for the amendment art. 1 of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 44/1997 on the suspension of agricultural income tax " 2. The unique article will read as follows: " Unique article. --Article 1 of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 44/1997 on the suspension of the agricultural income tax, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 153 of 14 July 1997, approved, with amendments, by Law no. 158/1997 , published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 288 of 24 October 1997, shall be amended as follows: " ART. 1. -Application of tax on agricultural income, provided in Law no. 34/1994 , as amended and supplemented, shall be suspended until 1 January 2005. ' " This law was adopted by the Chamber of Deputies at its meeting on March 26, 2001, in compliance with the provisions of 74 74 para. (2) of the Romanian Constitution. p.
