Law No. 128 of 21 July 2000 approving emergency Government Ordinance No. 30/1999 modification of article. 7 of Ordinance No. 26/1993 on the import customs tariff of Romania'S PARLIAMENT ISSUING published in MONITORUL OFICIAL nr. 345 of 25 July 2000, the Romanian Parliament adopts this law.
The sole article approving Government Emergency Ordinance nr. 30 of 25 March 1999 on the amendment of art. 7 of Ordinance No. 26/1993 on the import customs tariff, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, part I, no. 131 of 31 March 1999, with the following amendments and additions:-in article 1, item 7 shall read as follows: Art. 7.-it is also exempt from customs duty on the importation of the following categories of goods: the goods of Romanian origin);
b) goods repaired abroad or goods shall replace the defective quality partners, returned during warranty;
(c) the goods shall be returned) in the country as a result of incorrect shipments;
d) equipment for environmental protection, established by the Government upon the proposal of the Ministry of Waters, Forests and environmental protection, Ministry of industry and trade and the Ministry of finance;
(e) imported) goods intended to be used by family associations and craft sector, agriculture and small industry, within the framework of aid programmes and actions and development of activities, financed by foreign Governments on the basis of agreements or treaties concluded with Romania;
f imported) goods and donations, representing equipment and instruments intended for institutes of the Romanian Academy and the institutions of culture;
g) imported goods, accounting for raw materials and packaging for drugs. "
This law was adopted by the Senate at its meeting on 12 June 2000, in compliance with the provisions of art. 74 para. (2) of the Constitution of Romania.
