Law No. 129 of 19 July 1999 on the amendment of the Government Ordinance. 26/1993 on the import customs tariff of Romania'S PARLIAMENT ISSUING published in MONITORUL OFICIAL nr. 344 of 20 July 1999, the Romanian Parliament adopts this law.


Article 1 the Government Ordinance. 26 of 28 august 1993 concerning the import customs tariff, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, part I, no. 213 of 31 august 1993, approved and amended by the law No. 102/1994, as amended, modified and completed as follows: 1. Article 5 shall read as follows: Art. 5.-Is exempt from customs duty on the importation of the following goods: categories of aid and donations) social, humanitarian, cultural, sports, educational foundations, organizations received or associations non-profit humanitarian and cultural ministries and other organs of Central and local public administration, trade unions and political parties, religious organizations, federations, associations or sports clubs, units and institutions of the State and private school , medical and sanitary units, without being intended or used for activities that could constitute threats to the security of the national team. Exception from the provisions of this paragraph the following categories of goods:-alcohol and alcoholic products;
-tobacco and tobacco products;
-coffee;

b) samples without commercial value, advertising materials, advertising and documentation;
  

(c) foreign goods become), according to the law, State ownership;
  

d) other goods provided for in special laws.
  

They are also exempt from payment of customs duties on imported goods coming from or financed directly from aid, grants, loans and programs for scientific and technical cooperation, cultural, sports and education, Romania, foreign Governments, international bodies and non-profit organizations and charities, for nonprofit activities. "
2. Article 7 shall read as follows: Art. 7.-it is also exempt from customs duty on the importation of the following categories of goods: the goods of Romanian origin);
  

b) goods repaired abroad or goods shall replace the defective quality partners, returned during warranty;
  

(c) the goods shall be returned) in the country as a result of incorrect shipments;
  

d) equipment for environmental protection, established by the Government, upon the proposal of the Ministry of Waters, Forests and environmental protection, Ministry of industry and trade and the Ministry of finance. "
  


Article 2 of the Government Ordinance No. 26/1993 on the import customs tariff, as amended, as well as those made by this Bill, will be republished in the Official Gazette of Romania, part I. This law was adopted by the Senate at its meeting on 14 June 1999, in compliance with the provisions of art. 74 para. (2) of the Constitution of Romania.
