The Romanian Parliament adopts this law + Article 1 Approval Government Emergency Ordinance no. 52 52 of 22 December 1998 to amend and supplement Government Emergency Ordinance no. 9/1997 on some protection measures for persons whose individual employment contracts will be opened as a result of collective redundancies through the application of restructuring, privatization, liquidation, approved and modified Law no. 108/1997 and published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 496 of 22 December 1998, with the following amendments and additions: 1. In Article I, point 2, Article 1 (1) shall read as follows: "" ART. 1. --(1) The salaries of the companies in which the State holds at least one third of the total voting rights in the general meeting, those of the companies established with the opinion of the State Property Fund, to which the majority belongs to companies with majority state capital, as well as autonomous regions that record losses or arrears, whose individual employment contracts will be opened as a result of collective redundancies, carried out in the process of restructuring, privatization, liquidation, benefit from the protection measures provided for in the present emergency ordinance. ' 2. In Article I, point 4, Article 3, point C shall read as follows: "" C. In case of privatization of companies: a) the date of conclusion of the contract of sale-purchase of companies that are privatized, if it includes clauses relating to staff layoffs or, as the case may be, other deadlines provided for in the contract for layoffs of staff, if they are done in stages; b) the date of the report on the results of the public offering for sale of securities, if it contains information on staff layoffs and whether the percentage of securities sold from the total securities offered public is at least 33.3%. " 3. In Article I, point 4, point (c) is inserted in Article 3 (d) with the following contents: " c) the date of landing or the date of issue of the repatriation decision taken by the liquidator for aircrew on ships in international flights or under arrest, seizure, detention or damage in foreign ports, in the case of companies commercial or national shipping companies, which shall be liquidated in accordance with the conditions laid down in point (a). b), including those for which the judicial liquidation decision was previously delivered to the entry into force of this emergency ordinance. " 4. Article I (11), after paragraph 5 of Article 19, is inserted (5 ^ 1) the following contents: " (5 ^ 1) They are exempted from the provisions of par. (5) the beneficiaries of compensatory payments that are part of the necessary personnel for the liquidation process according to Law no. 64/1995 64/1995. " 5. In Article I, paragraph 17, Article 24 (1) (a) shall read as follows: " a) exemption for a period of 2 years from the payment of corporation tax, for those who have established companies, and from income tax, for those who are authorized to carry out economic activities on the basis of free initiative as independent individuals or as family associations. This provision also benefits those made redundant during 1998. " + Article 2 Government Emergency Ordinance no. 9/1997 , published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 64 of April 15, 1997, with subsequent amendments and completions, including those brought by this law, will be republished in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, giving the texts a new numbering. This law was adopted by the Senate at the meeting of May 31, 1999, in compliance with the provisions of art 74 74 para. (2) of the Romanian Constitution. p.
