Amendments to art. 24 and 25 of the World Health Organization's Constitution The 51st session of the World Health Assembly, considering that the number of members of the Executive Council should be increased from 32 to 34, so that the number of members of the European Region and of the Western Pacific Region, skills to designate one representative to the Executive Council, can be brought to 8 and 5, respectively, 1. Adopt the following amendments to art. 24 and 25 of the Constitution of the World Health Organization, the texts in English, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, French and Russian being equally authentic: -Article 24 is replaced by the following: " The Council is composed of 34 people, designated by as many Member States.
