The Romanian Parliament adopts this law + Article 1 Approval Government Emergency Ordinance no. 87 87 of 23 December 1997 for amendment art. 8 8 para. 1 of Government Ordinance no. 59/1994 on the regulation of import-export operations that are carried out by cliring, barter and international economic cooperation on the basis of trade agreements and government payments, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 375 375 of 24 December 1997. + Article 2 Article 8 (1) of Government Ordinance no. 59/1994 on the regulation of import-export operations that are carried out by cliring, barter and international economic cooperation on the basis of trade agreements and government payments, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 245 of August 30, 1994 and approved by Law no. 127/1994 127/1994, as amended by Government Emergency Ordinance no. 87/1997 , is amended and will read as follows: " The settlement in lei of export operations carried out with long-term staggered payment is made according to the external collection, confirmed on the basis of bank documents, at the leu/dollar exchange rate These provisions apply to the export operations carried out under the international economic cooperation, barter and economic cooperation agreements, carried out after 1 January 1990 and which have not been settled internally until the date of the this emergency ordinance. The settlement in lei of import operations shall be made on the basis of the value established in customs at the leu/dollar exchange rate U.S. from the date of the import customs declaration. " This law was adopted by the Chamber of Deputies at its meeting on February 3, 1998, in compliance with the provisions of 74 74 para. (2) of the Romanian Constitution. p.
