The Romanian Parliament adopts this law + Article 1 (1) The University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova is established as a state higher education institution, with legal personality, subordinated to the Ministry of National Education, based in Craiova, str. Petru Rares nr. 4, by separating the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Craiova, with accredited or authorized specializations to operate provisionally, according to the law. ... (2) The University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova will operate with the Faculty of Medicine, accredited, and the faculties of dentistry and pharmacy resulting from the detachment from the Faculty of Medicine. The specializations of dentistry and pharmacy faculties, provisionally authorized, follow the accreditation procedures provided by Law no. 88/1993 . ... + Article 2 The University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova has its own patrimony, constituted by the takeover, on the basis of protocol, from the University of Craiova of movable and immovable property used by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Craiova, with the asset and liabilities existing at the date of transmission. + Article 3 The teaching staff, the auxiliary teaching staff and the other staff related to the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Craiova will be transferred to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova. + Article 4 The expenses regarding the functioning of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Craiova are borne from the state budget through the budget of the Ministry of National Education, as well as from other sources of income acquired under the law + Article 5 Annex no. 1A "Universities, academies, institutes" (point 26 (b)) Government Decision no. 294/1997 on the functioning of higher education institutions, in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 88/1993 on the accreditation of higher education institutions and the recognition of diplomas, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 130 130 of 25 June 1997, as amended by Government Decision no. 472/1997 , published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 228 228 of 3 September 1997 and Annex no. 2 2 "Institutions and units operating in the coordination or subordination of the Ministry of National Education" (letter A, II no. crt. 38 38) at Government Decision no. 690/1997 on the organization and functioning of the Ministry of National Education, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no 309 309 of 13 November 1997, as amended and supplemented by Government Decision no. 57/1998 , published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 67 of 12 February 1998, shall be amended and supplemented accordingly. This law was adopted by the Chamber of Deputies at its meeting on April 23, 1998, in compliance with the provisions of 74 74 para. (2) of the Romanian Constitution. p.
