The Romanian Parliament adopts this law + Article 1 The commune of Baita under Codru in Maramureș County is reorganized, with the villages of Baita under Codru and Urmenis. + Article 2 The commune of Basesti in Maramureș County is reorganized, with the villages of Basesti, Odesti, Saliste and Stremt. + Article 3 The civil status documents drawn up in the civil status registers of Baita de sub Codru commune, for the inhabitants of Odesti village, until the entry into force of this law, are and remain valid. + Article 4 Annex to Law no. 2/1968 on the administrative organization of the territory of Romania shall be amended accordingly. This law was adopted by the Chamber of Deputies at the meeting of March 13, 1997, in compliance with the provisions of 74 74 para. (1) of the Romanian Constitution. p.
