Law No. 70 of 29 April 1997 on the granting of compensation for disability or death and gradatilor products of the Ministry of national defense soldiers as a result of missions within the framework of the international peacekeeping force intended to fold the ISSUING humanitarian PARLIAMENT Published in MONITORUL OFICIAL nr. 77 of 29 April 1997, the Romanian Parliament adopts this law.
Article 1 (1) of the Ministry for soldiers and Gradations of national defence shall be entitled to compensation for disability products as a result of military action, through accidents, catastrophes or other such events that took place during and due to international forces in missions intended for peacekeeping for humanitarian purposes in times established in the conditions and amounts set by the Government for military activity.
(2) in case of death, compensation shall be granted to those entitled under the law.
Article 2 Through graduations, and soldiers, for the purposes of this Act, means the Romanian citizens resident in the country who meet the service as conscripts or with reduced term, those in reserve, as are concentrated or mobilize students and students in educational institutions, as well as military and military employees on a contract basis.
Article 3 for soldiers within the military and reduced term, including those in reserve during how are concentrated or mobilized, as well as for students and pupils in military education, the establishment of compensation will take into account the result of the gross monthly minimum basis of military employees on a contract basis.
Article 4 the Ministry of national defense will issue, within 60 days after the date of entry into force of this law, the detailed rules of application.
This law was adopted by the Chamber of deputies at its meeting on 21 April 1997, in compliance with the provisions of art. 74 (2) of the Constitution of Romania.
