Note *) This Law was voted by the Senate and the Assembly of Deputies in the meetings of 26 and 28 April 1934; it was promulgated with Decree No. 1.294/1934 and published in the Official Gazette, Part I, No. 105 of 8 May 1934. See the Law and the Organization Statute of the Romanian Orthodox Church of May 6, 1928 and March 14, 1931. 1. A missionary Episcopate is established for Romanian Orthodox Christians from non-Orthodox countries, with the suffrage Bishop of the Metropolitan Ungro-Vlahiei and under the canonical jurisdiction of the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church. 2. The bishop will be chosen by the Holy Synod, among the titrated and well-trained men, who meet the conditions of the law and the Organization Statute of the Romanian Orthodox Church. He will be able to attend the meetings of the Holy Synod and the other church corporations, with deliberative vote, for all matters concerning his jurisdiction. 3. A special regulation made by the Holy Synod will determine the circle of activity and competence of this episcopate. ---------------------
