LEGE No. 1 of 10 January 1996 on the establishment of the Order " The victory of the Romanian Revolution

The Romanian Parliament adopts this law + Article 1 In order to honor the heroes-martyrs, as well as the persons who distinguished themselves by special deeds in the fight for the victory of the Revolution, the Order "Victory of the Romanian Revolution of December 1989" is established + Article 2 The order is posthumously given to the heroes-martyrs and persons art. 2 2 of Law no. 42/1990 , republished, as well as other persons who distinguished themselves by special deeds in the struggle for the victory of the Revolution of December 1989. The Order "Victory of the Romanian Revolution of December 1989" has an honorary character. + Article 3 The criteria for the award of the Order "Victory of the Romanian Revolution of December 1989", as well as the description and way of carrying out the meaning of the order to establish by the Regulation prepared by the Government and approved by decision of the + Article 4 The conferment of the order is attested by the patent, the model of which will be established by the regulation provided 3 + Article 5 The order provided in art. 1 is conferred, according to the law, together with the patent by the President of Romania, on the proposal of the commission art. 4 4 of Law no. 42/1990 , republished. + Article 6 The sign of the Order "Victory of the Romanian Revolution of December 1989" has the shape of a star with 8 equal arms, which enrolls in a circle with a diameter of 40 mm, having in the middle a round medallion, 15 mm in diameter, containing in the center the letter "V", and is made of tombac (copper 90% and zinc 10%), according to the annex which is an integral part of this law. The insignia of the order is made by the Autonomous Regia "Mint of the State". + Article 7 The expenditure on making the mark of the Order "Victory of the Romanian Revolution of December 1989", of the box for its preservation and of the patent certifying it shall be borne from the budget of the State Secretariat for The Revolutionary Issues of December 1989. This law was adopted by the Chamber of Deputies at the meeting of December 21, 1995, in compliance with the provisions of 74 74 para. (2) of the Romanian Constitution. p.
