LAW No. 6 of 8 March 1993 to Romania's accession to the International Convention of 1973 for the prevention of pollution from ships, as modified by the protocol concluded at London on 17 February 1978 PARLIAMENT ISSUING published in MONITORUL OFICIAL NR. 57 of 18 March 1993, the Romanian Parliament adopts this law.


Article 1 Romania accede to the International Convention for the prevention of pollution by ships, drawn up in London on November 2, 1973, as modified by the Protocol of 1978 relating to the 1973 International Convention for the prevention of pollution by ships, done at London on 17 February 1978.


Article 2 Romania, in accordance with the provisions of art. 14 of the Convention, declare that it does not accept Annexes III and IV to the Convention.
This law was adopted by the Senate at its meeting on 8 September 1992, in compliance with the provisions of art. 74 para. (2) of the Constitution of Romania.
SENATE PRESIDENT Prof. MAHADEVAPPA GAITAN this law was adopted by the Chamber of deputies at its meeting on 22 February 1993, in compliance with the provisions of art. 74 para. (2) of the Constitution of Romania.
