LAW No. 58 of 19 June 1992 with regard to the correlation between wages provided for by law No. 53/1991, law No. 40/1991 and Act No.. 52/1991 with wages from companies and administrations of the autonomous PARLIAMENT ISSUING published in MONITORUL OFICIAL NR. 140 of 23 June 1992, the Romanian Parliament adopts this law.

Article 1 (1) basic Wages provided for by law No. 53/1991, law No. 40/1991 and Act No.. 52/1991, indexed starting May 1, 1992, shall be increased by 20%.

(2) the limits of benefits laid down in annexes driving laws mentioned in paragraph 2. (1) starting May 1 indexed 1992 increased by 70%.

(3) the levels of salaries and benefits of management, established pursuant to paragraph 1. (1) and (2) shall be calculated and transmitted to interested institutions by the Ministry of labour and social security, and it will be indexed, in relation to the increase of the coefficient of indexing which will determine, for companies and autonomous administrations, toward indexing coefficient approved on 1 May 1992.

Article 2 merit salary may be granted under the conditions provided by law, for a maximum of 15% of the total staff of specialized institution, of which at least two-thirds will be used for execution.

Article 3 (1) basic Wages for people falling through part-time employment, including retirement pension which cumulated with salary, are those laid down under art. 1. (2) the salaries made by overlapping functions pursuant to paragraph 1. (1) as well as the revenue out of the base unit, regardless of where they are produced, shall be taxed separately, aplicindu-se tax as provided for by law, be increased by 100% in article 4 in order to maintain a balance between the salaries of all categories of staff in public institutions, the Government will take measures to ensure the growth of the average wage by 20 percent and for other staff in the budgetary units whose salaries shall be approved by resolution of the Government.

Article 5 this law applies as of 1 June 1992, within the limits of budgetary allocations have been approved, the date from which allowances may be reconsidered and wages merit established by law at the beginning of the year. At the same time it repealed the provisions of art. 2 of law No. 20/1992, as well as any other provisions to the contrary.

Article 6 Amendments to the structure of incomes and expenditures of the State budget for the year 1992, decurgind from the application of the provisions of this law, shall be included in the law on State budget of rectifying, together with other changes decurgind from legal provisions.
This law was adopted by the Senate at its meeting on 4 June 1992, in compliance with the provisions of art. 74 para. (2) of the Constitution of Romania.
