LEGE No. 2 of 16 January 1992 on granting allowances to members of the Romanian Academy

The Romanian Parliament adopts this law + Article 1 The members of the Romanian Academy receive, monthly an allowance established in relation to the indexed basic salary, provided for the position of main researcher first degree, gradation I, from public institutions, as follows: a) full members 80%; ... b) corresponding members 60%. ... + Article 2 Allowances provided for in art. 1 is not granted during the period when the members of the Romanian Academy perform state functions and are salarized with salaries. If they perform a leading position in public institutions for which the law provides for an allowance, they will opt for one of the two allowances. + Article 3 Allowances established according to art. 1 is taxed under the law. + Article 4 The amounts necessary for the granting of allowances are distinct, with this destination, in their own budget, by the Romanian Academy. + Article 5 This Law shall enter into force on 1 January 1992. On the date of entry into force of this Law, the Decree-Law no. 5 5 of 5 January 1990 on the granting of allowances to the members of the Romanian Academy, as well as any other provisions contrary -------------------
