The Romanian Parliament adopts this law Romania adheres to the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, adopted in New York on 10 December 1984. This law was passed by the Senate at its meeting on September 11, 1990. SENATE PRESIDENT academician ALEXANDRU BIRLADEANU This law was adopted by the Assembly of Deputies at its meeting on 25 September 1990.
