The President of Romania enjoys immunities as members of parliament. Travel tickets for the means of transport provided in par. 1 will be issued on the basis of the senator or deputy books or special cards issued by the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Spatial Planning. --------------- Paragraph 3 of art. 6 6 has been repealed by art. 3 of LAW no. 41 41 of 28 June 1993 , published in MONITORUL OFFICIAL no. 139 139 of 29 June 1993. --------------- Paragraph 4 of art. 6 6 has been repealed by art. 3 of LAW no. 41 41 of 28 June 1993 , published in MONITORUL OFFICIAL no. 139 139 of 29 June 1993. + Article 7 During the term of office of senator or deputy, the employment contract of the person concerned shall be suspended, except in cases where the permanent office, at the request of the senator or deputy, decides otherwise. Upon termination of the term of office, the persons concerned shall resume their work in the execution of the same employment contract. If the reorganizations of the units take place during the term of office, they are obliged to communicate to the senators or deputies the new established job, in compliance with the provisions of the labor law. + Article 8 The activity carried out in the functions provided in 1 1 and art. 2 constitutes seniority in work, uninterrupted seniority in work and in the specialty, and upon returning to the previously held position or to the classification in an equivalent function, it is taken into account for the establishment of uninterrupted seniority in the same unit. Provisions of para. 1 applies only to persons whose employment contract has been suspended during the term of office of senator or deputy. Rights referred to in art. 1 1 para. 1 1 and art. 2 have the regime provided by law for the tariff salary and are taken into account when establishing the pension. The contribution provided by the law for the social insurance fund is borne from the budget of the Presidency, the Senate or, as the case may be, the Assembly of Deputies, and the contribution for the additional pension is paid by those concerned --------------- Paragraph 4 of art. 8 8 has been repealed by art. 30 of LAW no. 53 53 of 31 July 1991 , published in MONITORUL OFFICIAL no. 165 165 of 8 August 1991. The state allowance for children shall be paid in the amount established prior to the exercise of the mandate, on the basis of the proof issued by the unit to which the allowance was established. Upon termination of the mandate, retired senators or deputies may request the recalculation of the pension, taking into account the allowance received and the period of office. The rights provided in art. 2 is cumulated, as the case may be, with pension or other income. This law was passed by the Senate at its meeting on July 5, 1990.
