Proposal for Resolution No 6/XIII

The Portuguese Republic and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam signed, on June 3,

2015, in Lisbon, the Agreement to Prevent Double Taxation and Prevent Tax Evasion in

Tax Matter on the Throughput.

This Agreement is intended to eliminate international double taxation in the different

categories of income earned by residents in either of the two states and the

prevent tax evasion.

Thus:

Under the terms of the paragraph d) of Article 197 (1) of the Constitution, the Government presents to the

Assembly of the Republic the following motion for a resolution:

Approve the Agreement between the Portuguese Republic and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to

Avoiding Double Taxation and Preventing Tax Evasion in Tax Matters on the

Income, signed in Lisbon, on June 3, 2015, the text of which in the versions

authenticated in the Portuguese, Vietnamese and English languages, it publishes in annex.
