MOTION FOR RESOLUTION No. 105 /X

Considering that the need for an Agreement setting out the terms and conditions of

participation of the countries adhering to the European Union stems from the Agreement on Space

European Economic, of May 2, 1992;

Recognizing that the Agreement on the European Economic Area determines that any

European state to become a member of the European Communities should present a

request to become a party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area;

Considering that the participation of new states in the European Economic Area requires,

the similarity of what happens to the present Parties to the Agreement on Space

European Economic, a legal framework that the present Agreement, as well as the

related agreements and protocols referenced in its Article 6, paragraph 2, set out.

Thus:

Under the terms of the paragraph d) of Article 197 (1) of the Constitution, the Government presents to the

Assembly of the Republic the following motion for a resolution:

Approves the Agreement on the Participation of the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania in Space

European Economic, as well as Annexes A and B and the Final Act, signed in Brussels, the

July 25, 2007, the text of which, in the authenticated version in Portuguese language, publishes in

attachment.
