PRESIDENCY of the COUNCIL of MINISTERS resolution No. 120/X 1 whereas this Convention will avoid double taxation of the different categories of income earned by residents in any of the Contracting States; Given that the Convention will contribute to creating a more stable and transparent fiscal framework for investors of both States and to that extent influence positively the development of capital flows and the activities of the companies of the two countries. So: under d) of paragraph 1 of article 197 of the Constitution, the Government presents to the Assembly of the Republic the following resolution: to approve the Convention between the Portuguese Republic and the Republic of Guinea-Bissau for the avoidance of double taxation with respect to taxes on income and the prevention of Fiscal evasion signed at Lisbon on 17 of October 2008 , the text of the authenticated version in Portuguese language if published in annex.
