DRAFT RESOLUTION No. 502/X moving the President of the Republic to Edinburgh his Excellency the President of the Republic has requested, pursuant to article 129, paragraph 1 and subparagraph (b)) of article 163 of the Constitution, the assent of the Assembly of the Republic to move on official visit to Edinburgh on days 22 and 23 of this month of June in order to be conferred the degree of Doctor honoris causa by the Heriot-Watt University.
So, I present to the Assembly of the Republic, in accordance with regulations, the following draft resolution: "the Assembly of the Republic decides, in accordance with point (b)) of article 163 and of paragraph 5 of article 166 of the Constitution, giving nod to the movement of his Excellency the President of the Republic to Edinburgh, between 22 and 23 of this month of June."
