Travel of the President of the Republic to Edinburgh

His Excellency the President of the Republic required, pursuant to paragraph 1 of the article

129 and (b) of Article 163 of the Constitution, the Assembly's assentiment of the

Republic to move on official visit to Edinburgh on days 22 and 23 of the

current month of June, in order to be conferred on the degree of Doctor honoris causa by the

Heriot-Watt University.

Thus, I present to the Assembly of the Republic, in the regimental terms, the following

draft resolution:

" The Assembly of the Republic resolves, in accordance with point (b) of the article

163 and of Article 166 (5) of the Constitution, give the opinion of the

travel of His Excellency the President of the Republic to Edinburgh,

between days 22 and 23 of the current month of June. "
