Proposal for Resolution No. 115 /X

Considering the aim of creating better conditions for economic relations between

European Union and Bosnia and Herzegovina and for the development of trade

and of investments, essential factors for restructuring and modernization

economic;

Taking into account the need to strengthen economic linkages and establish a

close and enduring relationship based on reciprocity and common interest, so as to

enable to consolidate and extend relations with the Community and its Member States;

Recognizing the importance of the Agreement, within the framework of the Stabilization Process and the

Association, with respect to the countries of south-eastern Europe, to institute and consolidate a

Europe stable, based on cooperation and the Stability Pact.

Thus:

Under the terms of the paragraph d ) of Article 197 (1) of the Constitution, the Government presents to the

Assembly of the Republic the following motion for a resolution:

To approve the Stabilization and Association Agreement between the European Communities and the

their Member States, on the one hand, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the other hand, signed in the

Luxembourg, on June 16, 2008, including Annexes I to VII, the Protocols n. para. 1 a

7 and the Final Act with the Declarations, the text of which, in the authenticated version in language

portuguese, it publishes in annex.
