PRESIDENCY of the COUNCIL of MINISTERS resolution No. 123/X Considering the evolution of international standards, in particular the Model Tax Convention on income and on capital of the OECD, and the changes in the tax laws of Portugal and Mozambique; Given that the Protocol will contribute to the proper implementation of the rules on Elimination of double taxation and prevention of tax evasion against individuals and companies that share the your activity between Portugal and Mozambique. So: under d) of paragraph 1 of article 197 of the Constitution, the Government presents to the Assembly of the Republic the following resolution: to approve the Protocol between the Portuguese Republic and the Republic of Mozambique to revise the Convention for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of Fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income, signed in Maputo on March 24 2008, the text of which, in your authenticated version in Portuguese language, if published in the annex.
