PRESIDENCY of the COUNCIL of MINISTERS resolution No. 102/X having regard to the Convention on International Civil Aviation signed in Chicago on 7 December 1944, and from which the Portuguese Republic is a party, defines certain principles and measures to develop international civil aviation safe and orderly manner, thereby establishing the international air transport services on a basis of equality of opportunities for exploration of these services effectively and economically; Considering the general desire expressed by Contracting States so that the necessary measures are taken to ensure the availability of an authentic Arabic text of the Convention on International Civil Aviation, the Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization on your thirty-first session in Montreal, on 29 September 1995, approved in accordance with article 94 (a)) of that Convention, a proposal for amendment which aims to replace the current text of the final paragraph of the Convention so that the text in the Arabic language also pass faith; So: under d) of paragraph 1 of article 197 of the Constitution, the Government presents to the Assembly of the Republic the following resolution: to approve the Protocol relating to an amendment to the Convention on International Civil Aviation, adopted at Montreal on 29 September 1995, the text of which, in the authenticated version in English, French, Russian, Spanish, and Arabic as well as their translation into Portuguese language , published in the annex. 2 Seen and approved by the Council of Ministers of 24 July 2008 the Prime Minister of State and Minister for Foreign Affairs the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Minister Presidency
