Considering the signing, on January 18, 2008, of the Agreement that Revelates the Agreement between the

Portuguese Republic and the Kingdom of Spain on the Constitution of One Market

Iberian Energy Electrical, signed in Santiago de Compostela, October 1-

2004;

Aware that the present Agreement will allow to develop and deepen bilateral relations

between the Portuguese Republic and the Kingdom of Spain in the electrical energy sector;

Recognizing the importance of its entry into force for the implementation of the Plan de

Regulatory harmonisation signed by the Governments of Portugal and Spain in March of

2007.

Thus:

Under the terms of the paragraph d) of Article 197 (1) of the Constitution, the Government presents to the

Assembly of the Republic the following motion for a resolution:

Approve the Agreement that Revelates the Agreement between the Portuguese Republic and the Kingdom of Spain

on the Constitution of an Iberian Electrical Energy Market, signed in Braga at 18

of January 2008, the text of which, in the authenticated versions in the Portuguese and Spanish languages,

is published in attachment.
