MOTION FOR RESOLUTION No. 114 /X

Taking into account the growing importance of the telecommunications sector for the

economic and social development of all States;

Recognizing the commitment of the Portuguese Republic to the definition of the strategy and

guidelines of the telecommunications sector worldwide as well as for the

development of cooperation with the least developed countries.

Thus:

Under the terms of the paragraph d) of Article 197 (1) of the Constitution, the Government presents to the

Assembly of the Republic the following Proposal for a Resolution:

Approve the Agreement between the Portuguese Republic and the International Union of the

Telecommunications on the Realization, Organization and Financing of the 4-Forum

World of Telecommunications Policies of the International Telecommunication Union

and Related Meetings, signed in Geneva, October 17, 2008, the text of which

authenticated versions in the Portuguese and English languages, it publishes in attachment.
