MOTION FOR RESOLUTION No. 77 /X

Considering that the Statute of the International Iberian Laboratory of Nanotechnology,

signed in Badajoz on November 25, 2006, during the XXII Summit Luso-

Spanish, establishes that the head office of the Laboratory is located in Portugal;

Listening to the need to regulate the relationship between the Laboratory, as an organization

international endowed with international legal personality, and the Portuguese Republic,

as a State of the Seat;

Considering that this Agreement will grant the Laboratory the necessary conditions

for their full operation efficiently and independently, making it to the same

attractive time for eminent researchers.

Thus:

Under the terms of the paragraph d) of Article 197 (1) of the Constitution, the Government presents to the

Assembly of the Republic the following motion for a resolution:

Approves the Sede Agreement between the Portuguese Republic and the Iberian Laboratory

International of Nanotechnology, signed in Braga on January 19, 2008, the text of which,

in the authenticated versions in the Portuguese and English languages, it publishes in attachment.
