MOTION FOR RESOLUTION No. 65 /X
Considering the aim of promoting an international air transport system
based on fair competition between air carriers in a market with a minimum
government intervention and regulation;
Recognizing the need to proceed to a gradual opening of markets with
a view to the liberalization of air services between the parties;
Considering that this Agreement will be able to serve as a reference in aeronautical relations
euro-Mediterranean so as to fully exploit the benefits of liberalization in this
essential economic sector.
Thus:
Under the terms of the paragraph d) of Article 197 (1) of the Constitution, the Government presents to the
Assembly of the Republic the following motion for a resolution:
Approve the Euro-Mediterranean Agreement Relative to Air Services between the Community
European and its member states, on the one hand, and the Kingdom of Morocco, on the other hand,
including Annexes I to VI, signed in Brussels, on December 12, 2006, the text of which,
in the authenticated version in Portuguese language, it publishes in attachment.
