Travel of the President of the Republic to Strasbourg and to Brussels

His Excellency the President of the Republic required, pursuant to paragraph 1 of the article

129 and (b) of Article 163 of the Constitution, the Assembly's assentiment of the

Republic to be absent from the national territory, on displacement of official character to

Strasbourg and Brussels, on days 3 a to 5 of the next September, for a visit

to the Institutions of the European Union.

Thus, I present to the Assembly of the Republic, in the regimental terms, the following

draft resolution:

" The Assembly of the Republic resolves, in accordance with point (b) of the article

163 and Article 166 (5) of the Constitution, give the visit an assentiment

of the official character of His Excellency the President of the Republic a

Strasbourg and Brussels, on days 3 a to 5 of the next September. "
