MOTION FOR RESOLUTION No. 44 /X

Considering the existing friendship relations between the Portuguese Republic and the Republic

Argentina;

With a view to facilitating and expeditiating mutual legal aid, particularly in relation to

investigations, trials or prosecutions in one or the other state,

Thus:

Under the terms of the paragraph d) of Article 197 (1) of the Constitution, the Government presents to the

Assembly of the Republic the following Proposal for a Resolution:

Approve, for ratification, the Agreement between the Portuguese Republic and the Argentine Republic

on Mutual Legal Aid in Criminal Matters, signed in Lisbon, on April 7,

2003, whose text, in the authentic versions in the Portuguese and Castelhana languages, publishes in

attachment.
