Chapter 1. General provisions. Definitions section 1. Scope (1) these regulations apply to the recording, study, exams and degrees at wide scientific College. Special provisions that apply to the degree ph. d. referred to in the regulation about the degree philosophiae doctor (ph. d.) at wide scientific College.

(2) by contradiction going general laws, national regulations and framework plans in front of the provisions of this regulation.

§ 2. Definitions Extraordinary exam: an exam which is held when the College in particular cases find it necessary. 
Topic: a study scoring unit with a fixed content. 
Topic description: overview of the professional content, expected learning benefits, organization and working methods, assessment, curriculum, presence, if any, duty and prerequisites for a topic. All topics should have a topic description. 
Trade plans: plans prepared by the College which provides the complete description of the studies that follow the national framework plan. Subjects plans describes the goals, content and organization of the subject/study/educations as governed by the frame plans. 
Mandatory task: a study task that must be completed and approved to go up to the exam in a subject or to pass a topic, but where the assessment not included in the calculation base for the character. Mandatory activity is specified in the topic description or subject/study plan. 
Private candidate: a person who goes up to the exam after University and College Act § 3-10 without being admitted as a student at wide scientific College. 
Frame plan: a plan for a course of study in which the Ministry has laid down national frameworks for the contents of the study. 
Student: a person who is admitted to a topic or program of study at wide scientific College in accordance with University and College Act § 3-6 and 3-7. 
Study plans: plans prepared by the College that describes the goals, content and organization of studies that are not governed by the national framework plan. 
Program of study: study ran with a defined content according to subject or study plan that lead up to a final exam or degree. 
Study right: the right to carry out a study or a single topic for topical subjects or study plan. 
Deferred exam: review which will be held for students that have submitted a medical certificate or had other documented valid absence at the ordinary exam. Also for students who have completed, but not passed the ordinary exam.

Chapter 2. Good writing and exemption to section 3. Good writing of other education (1) Dean/prodekan determines applications for the approval of degrees and other education from other institutions under the University and College Act, cf. Regulation 10. April 2006 no. 412 about good writing of higher education. Such education with the same will be credited to the number of credits at wide scientific College to the extent they meet the academic requirements. It can not be given double value for the same subject content.

(2) the Dean/on the same basis prodekan also determines applications for the approval of the education from the foreign higher education institutions or Norwegian institution not covered by the University and College Act.

(3) overlap in content should be in a general rule, give the corresponding reduction in the credits in the subject in which the student recently have graduated.

(4) the principal may decide supplementary provisions for the approval of training courses from other educational institutions section 4. Exemption (1) exemption for the examination, trial or practice can be granted if the corresponding have been prepared by other institution or other course of study at wide scientific College. Documentation is required. It can also be granted an exemption on the basis of other relevant examination, trial or practice at the corresponding level. Documentation of real expertise can also provide the basis for an exemption, jf. University and College Act § 3-5.

(2) the principal may decide supplementary provisions for exemption for the examination, trial or practice Chapter 3. Recording provisions section 5. Admission to basic educations (1) For admission and ranking to the reason the rules that apply to education are set out in the regulation from the Ministry of education 31. January 2007 Nr. 173 for admission to higher education.

(2) the college sets out the supplementary provisions for the assessment of real expertise.

section 6. Admission to further educations (1) For admission to further educations that are frame plan regulated, the minimum requirements for admission as set out in the plan or in the regulation frame as part of the framework plan.

(2) For admission to further educations that have the study plan, the minimum requirements for admission that are set out in the study plan.

(3) Practice requirements, character requirements or other additional requirements for admission should be apparent by the subjects-/studieplan for the individual course of study.

(4) the college sets out the supplementary provisions for the assessment of real expertise.

section 7. Admission to the master degree studies (1) General admission basis for master's degree studies emerges from section 3 and section 5 of the regulation from the Ministry of education 1. December 2005 Nr. 1392 on the requirements to the master's degree.

(2) Practice requirements, character requirements or other additional requirements for admission should be apparent by the subjects-/studieplan for the individual course of study.

(3) the college sets out the supplementary provisions for the assessment of real expertise.

section 8. Admission to the practical-Theological Seminary (1) For admission to the integrated semester in practical theology is required completed years of study in Christianity/RLE or equivalent education.

(2) For admission to the final semester in practical theology is required it completed master's degree in theology or equivalent education. Candidates must also have completed and passed the integrated semester in practical theology, including scheduled practice periods.

(3) persons that have been approved by the Norwegian Church, the Evaluation Committee may also be given on the practical-theological education.

§ 9. Admission to the professional study of theology For admission to the professional study of theology (cand. theol.) applies to the rules for admission to basic educations, jf. This forskriftens section 5 first paragraph. The recording provides study space by bachelor's degree in theology, integrated semester in practical theology, master's degree in theology and final semester in practical theology.

§ 10. Special assessment That can be done except for the ranking provisions if the reasons for the special assessment. The basis for recording after special consideration may be that the applicant have a mother tongue other than Norwegian, illness, disability or that there are other special circumstances which give reason to assume that the applicant's score does not give an accurate picture of the applicant's qualifications.

section 11. Applicants with foreign qualifications (1) applicants with foreign qualifications from countries outside the Nordic region must provide evidence that they meet the requirements of the Norwegian and English skills according to regulation 31. January 2007 Nr. 173 for admission to higher education.

(2) requirements for the Norwegian knowledge does not apply if both the mandatory parts of the study, and the appropriate specialization in its entirety be taught in English.

§ 12. Complaint on admission (1) complaint about decisions in recording questions that come in under the admission to basic education through the NOM-recording, stiles to the saksbehandlende institution. If the decision is not reversed, seeking the opportunity to maintain the appeal. When will the appeal be decided in the national appeals for the recording business.

(2) Complaint on admission to further education, master's studies and on the basis of real expertise stiles to the College, and the College may need to be in within 3 weeks after the applicant has received a response to the application for recording, eventually received the grounds. If the decision is not reversed, seeking the opportunity to maintain the appeal. When will the appeal be decided by the College's appeals.

section 13. Control of documentation a random selection of applicants must each year exhibit original documents of the basis for admission. If the original documents not lodged after the stipulated deadline applicant can get suspended study Court.

Chapter 4. Study right, educational plan and leave section 14. Study the right

(1) A student who has accepted offers of study space has the right, according to the study the normed study time/the stipulated study progression for the current full-or part-time study the student is admitted to.

(2) study the Court can be retained for up to 50% beyond the normed study time or organized study progression. For further educations and years of study can study the Court be retained up to one year in the timing is not a risk study start, exclusion from the College or leaves of absence after this forskriftens section 16.

(3) the student can apply to enter into agreements with the College about the modified study progression, but the deal may not imply that the student uses more than 50% or one year beyond the usual time, cf. point 2.

b) student has exceeded the set limit of up to 50% or one year beyond the normed study time or organized study progression.

c) the student has used up their attempts for exams or practice period, cf. This forskriftens section 18 and section 21.

d) the student has not produced credits by that person in the course of study program the last two years of study and have not had a leave of absence or been banned.

e) Student on request foreviser not original documents of the Foundation for admission within the prescribed time limit, cf. This forskriftens section 13.

f) at the violations according to University and College Act § 4-9 and section 4-10.

(6) students who lose the Court can study, search new admission to the study or the equivalent program of study at wide scientific College, as long as the parent regulations provides access to this. Students who have lost right after this study forskriftens section 14 (4) Letter c cannot find new admission to the study or the equivalent program of study at wide scientific College before it's been two years since the last exam attempt or practice period.

(7) the Court when a Study ends) the student withdraw from the study.

section 15. Educational plan and semester registration (1) students who are admitted to the educations of at least 60 study points range, should have an educational plan. This also applies to part-time students with a study progression of at least 50%.

(2) Complete semester registration is to be regarded as the final teaching and exam message, and is a prerequisite for the student is given the status as a student.

(3) Educational plan shall contain provisions on the College's responsibilities and obligations to the student and the student's College about obligations to, and fellow students.

section 16. Leave of absence (1) a student can apply for a leave of absence by birth/adoption, military service, illness or other special reasons.

(2) the student must as a general rule have carried at least one semester or more to seek a leave of absence. Condition if carried out 1. term does not apply to when birth//adoption is reason for the leave, cf. University and College Act § 4-5.

(3) as a general rule be given the leave for up to one year.

(4) as a general rule can not exceed the maximum time the leave two years of study ran agreed in the student's original educational plan.

(5) the student has the right to resume their studies at the similar level as before the leave of absence, but the education plan must be adapted to the current subject-/studieplan.

(6) If a student would like to follow parts of the study in his leave time, it must be paid semester fee for that semester.

(7) study section determines applications for leave of absence.

Chapter 5. Exam section 17. General examination (1) exams are linked to the individual subject, and to ensure that the students keep a satisfactory academic level and is being tested in relation to the expected learning that applies to dividends subject.

(3) Time for the individual exams are determined by Dean/prodekan. Any changes in the time should be announced by the registration deadline. Changes at a later time can only make out from particular reasons.

§ 18. Practice For the implementation of practice educations where is the subject of academic review, the following applies: (1) For not passing the practice provides access to take practice period a second time unless otherwise provided in the national framework plan. This is going to take place at a different place with different practices and practice guides than during the first practice period.

(3) it is not permitted to withdraw from the mandatory practice without a valid reason. With valid reason refers to documented sick leave, or other documented compelling absence. The absence must be reported to the College immediately. Absence from the mandatory practice periods without a valid reason, counts as an attempt.

§ 19. Criteria to go up to the exam to go up to the exam, the student must have paid study and semester fees, completed semester registration and gotten approved the mandatory tasks required according to the subject-/studieplan or subject description, including the prerequisites in the appropriate topic.

section 20. Oppmelding to the examination (1) students with the educational plan to volunteer up to the ordinary exam by completing the semester registration for current semester within the stipulated deadlines.

(2) students with no educational plan must register for the ordinary exam.

(3) students who are going to take the exam or exams postponed improve, must register within the prescribed deadlines and make sure that the exam registration is recorded correctly.

(4) a student is responsible for keeping abreast of the time and place of the exam section 21. The number of attempts to exam Students do not have the right to portray itself to the examination in the same subject or topic more than three times. A student is considered to have portrayed himself to the exam if the student withdraws after off hire deadline, does not show on the exam, do not deliver paper or retires during the exam. § 22. Regular examination Regular examination be carried out with the evaluation and in the semester specified in the subject-/studieplan or subject description.

§ 23. Deferred exam and extraordinary examination (1) Deferred exam will be held within a reasonable time after the ordinary examination.

(2) a student who has completed and did not pass the ordinary exam, have the right to go up to the deferred exam.

(3) a student who have had valid absence at the annual exams, have the right to go up to the deferred exam. As valid the absence is considered disease or other documented compelling absence reason.

(4) students who because of Exchange in foreign countries have not been able to go up to the ordinary exam, has the right to deferred exam.

(5) a student who is not conducting or cannot pass the exam go could not be postponed up to the new exam before by next annual exam. This also applies to students who have valid absence by deferred exam.

(6) if there are exposed the examination for students that is mentioned above in the second to fourth paragraphs, also students who have had absence from the ordinary exam without a valid reason, have not conducted regular exam or have resigned within the prescribed deadline fabricated to this.

(7) by significant change of curriculum-/studieplan, have a student the right to go up to the deferred exam after the old arrangement until two years after the last regular examination was held.

(8) If a study be laid down, students who are delayed in the study within the College to take the search about the exam in a subject for up to two years after that the topic is ceased.

(9) the College can in particular cases hold extraordinary exam. When it will be held and at the extraordinary adaptation of the graduation exam scheme for Exchange students, determines the Dean/conditions that must prodekan which be met to gain access to the exam and to get the character, as well as the curriculum that will be the basis for examination.

section 24. Improvement exam grade (1) a student who wants to improve a character, can sign up up at the next annual exam. A student who has completed the study, can apply to improve your character up to one year after completing the course of study.

(2) Under the assumption that there will be held postponed exam, a senior student who wants to improve a character sign up up to deferred exam.

(3) by the improvement of the character being tried the student in the current curriculum at exam time.

(4) the student being required to justify an exam fee set by the College for the improvement of the exam grade.

§ 25. Privatister (1) people who fill the requirements for admission, but not taken up by program of study at the College, can apply to take the examination in a subject as private candidate.

(2) it is not permitted for graduate privatister in topics where there are claims about the conducted and approved the required activities.

(3) Privatisters rights are limited to access to public lectures and to go up to the exam. Responsible faculty can decide if privatister should be given access to different teaching.

(4) Privatister must register for the exam within the prescribed deadlines. Documentation of the General and any special admission must be attached.

(5) Privatister will pay a private candidate fee set by the College.

(6) Privatister to have the same evaluation as students with admission to the study.

(7) this regulation, guidelines and complementary provisions also apply to privatister.


§ 26. Facilitation of the examination and assessment of alternative (1) a candidate who for medical or other reasons, need for facilitation of the exam or alternative evaluation must apply for this. The Organization shall have the like purposes to offset the disadvantages the student has, at the same time as one to the greatest extent possible to ensure that the students be sampled equally. It should be set the same academic requirements as at the annual review.

(2) the Application must be filed within a prescribed time limit. The exception from the application deadline can be done by acute disease or aggravation of chronic disease. If the need for facilitation is of permanent nature, it may apply for the facilitation for the entire study period.

(3) the need for facilitation must be documented with the medical certificate or certificate from the other expert witnesses. The certificate must contain a specification of the need for facilitation or alternative evaluation of the exam situation. Documentation must be of recent date, normally not older than two years.

(4) students with dyslexia or other reading-/skrivevansker can get laid by exam the answer an anonymous testimonial that confirms this.

(5) students with other native language than Norwegian, who have qualified for the recording by satisfying one of the Norwegian requirements for foreign-language applicants, are not extended examination time or other arrangement of the exam due to language deficits alone. It can be searched for using the two-language dictionary and/or spelling dictionary on the exam with supervision.

(6) application of facilitation is sent to study section.

(7) the principal may determine the supplementary provisions on the facilitation of the exam and alternative assessment.

§ 27. Exam on language other than Norwegian exam questions is designed as a general rule on the Norwegian or English according to the study-/fagplan or subject description. Answer papers can be written in Norwegian, Swedish or Danish unless otherwise determined in the study-/fagplan.

section 28. The use of utilities by examination under supervision (1) the College determines the AIDS that can be used by the examination. Overview of the remedy should be apparent by the subjects-/studieplan or subject descriptions and in the exam tasks. It will come clear out which AIDS that are available from the College and the student even have the responsibility to bring.

(2) Candidates are obliged to make all utilities available for control before and during the exam.

section 29. The absence from the examination, pull from the examination (1) a student has the opportunity to withdraw from the exam within the prescribed time limit. The student can then not portray themselves to the exam before the next annual exam. Exceptions to this are mentioned in this section forskriftens 23 sixth paragraph.

(2) If a student does not withdraw within the prescribed time limit, does not meet the exam to set time or supplies to the exam paper set time, it is considered an exam attempt.

(3) a student who withdraws during the examination with the supervision after the exam has started to do this in writing by signing on the attendees list and Proctor to cross the "moves" the task text and all material to be delivered given back. The moves during the exam is regarded as an exam attempt.

(4) If a student deliver a paper or glossy paper that is obviously not an effort at the academic paper, this will be considered the moves during the exam and is regarded as an exam attempt.

(5) if illness or other strong welfare reasons preventing the student in meeting to or carry out examination or causes the student must cancel the exam, a medical certificate or other documentation supplied the College no later than within four business days.

(6) a student who has supplied paper, cannot evade censorship.

section 30. Cheating, attempt at cheating, cancellation of the exam. Exclusion (1) attempt at cheating or consequences of cheating is governed by University and College Act. Decisions are made by the College's appeals, jf. University and College Act § 4-7 and section 4-8.

(2) written exam with supervision is deemed commenced when the exam task is shared out. Rules for the attempts at cheating also apply to book control before the exam is started.

(3) If during the examination under supervision occurs that allows the situations a student can is suspected of cheating, the student should be made aware that the relationship will be reported to the Study section for further processing. The student is given when the option to choose if he/she want to cancel or continue the exam. The same is true for students who have contributed to cheating in others.

(4) in the event of suspicion of cheating or attempted cheating during moderation, should the relationship be reported to Study section. This is also true for the student, if any, provide help.

(5) the College appeals sets out the response form by cheating or attempted cheating according to University and College Act § 4-7 and section 4-8.

(6) the cancellation of the exam or try count as one attempt to graduation.

(7) the exclusion from the College and other institutions be governed by the current provisions of the University and College Act § 4-7 and section 4-8.

(8) the principal may establish guidelines for the treatment of cheating or attempted cheating. In this privacy policy are included delimitation of what is to be regarded as cheating.

section 31. Character system (1) Character is specified either using a graduated scale from A-F, or by using the pass-no pass.

(2) the rules for the calculation of the final grade in a subject that consists of multiple part exams should be apparent by the subjects-/studieplan or subject description.

Chapter 6. Censorship, complain and testimony section 32. Censorship (1) the student's knowledge and skills should be tested and evaluated in an unbiased and professional belongings jf. University and College Act § 3-9. The College shall ensure external evaluation of the institution's assessment schemes.

(2) the Dean prodekan sensors/shall appoint by examination, trial, evaluation of the task or other review when the results are included in the diploma or recognized in character for that course of study. External sensors can be appointed for a period of up to 4 years. A remote sensor should not censor the same subject together hanging at the College for more than 6 years.

(3) there shall be at least two sensors, one of which at least one external, by the evaluation of the student's independent work in the higher level and for a complaint ratings, jf. University and College Act § 3-9 second and fifth paragraph.

(4) if the internal and external sensor cannot agree about the assessment of a paper, determines the remote sensor.

(5) If an exam is composed of both a written and an oral assessment and the oral assessment is based on the written, can a student do not misrepresent themselves to oral assessment if the written part is considered to not-passed.

(6) Student who participates in the Group exam/project groups that are considered examination and who has withheld from them work and obligations, can be considered to lower grade than the rest of the group or be considered for non-passing. It is assumed that unndragelsen is documented or clear sannsynliggjort.

(7) censorship going to be released within three weeks unless particular reasons make it necessary to use more time. For master theses to censorship be released within 6 weeks, jf. University and College Act § 3-9 fourth and seventh paragraph.

section 33. The right to the ground-complain of karakterfast setting (1) student has right to grounds of character determination, jf. University and College Act section 5-3.

(2) the student has the right to complain on the character of the determination. University and College Act § 5-3 fourth paragraph.

(3) Oral performance and assessment of practice studies that by its nature cannot be verify can still not be appealed, cf.. University and College Act section 5-3.

(4) Character set on the Group exam may be appealed. The appeal signed by those in the group who want to complain. Any change in the character after complaint rating applies only to the candidate or those candidates who have complained of the karakterfast setting.

(5) the appeal deadline and form of the appeal provisions of the law of administrative and University and College Act section 5-3.

(6) for a complaint to be made it completely new censorship with at least 2 new sensors, of which at least one external, jf. University and College Act § 3-9. The new sensors will not have information about the character, grounds for the character or the student's reason for complaint.

(7) the determination by the new Character moderation after the complaint is final and cannot be appealed, cf.. University and College Act section 5-3.

section 34. Complaint on formal errors by exam the student can complain of formal errors by exam cf.. University and College Act § 5-2 and § 5-1.

section 35. Diplomas and transcript (1) students who achieve a bachelor's degree, a master's degree or a ph. d. degree to be issued diplomas and a vitnemåls addition (Diploma Supplement).

(2) students who have completed further education, years of study or graduation in subjects or courses that do not provide the basis to issue diplomas, transcript for this.

(3) part exams or forprøver which are included in a review of a topic should essentially not be specified in the diploma or transcript.

(4) Student who after completing the degree exam in a subject included in the degree in which diplomas are given, can ask for the additional part of the transcript.

(5) after the first complaint issued Diplomas deadlines on the character determinations in the diploma has expired.

(6) If a student wants to improve ratings which are included in a degree that provides the basis for the diploma, the student within the specified deadline to reserve against the issuance of diplomas in up to one year.

(7) Diplomas are issued only once. By loss of diplomas can the College after application and against payment issue the duplicate. The duplicate is issued only in special cases.

Chapter 7. Degrees


section 36. Degrees and educations (1) WIDE scientific College may award the following degrees: a) Bachelor, usual time 3 years.

b) Master, usual time 1 ½-2 years.

c) Candidata/candidatus theologiae (cand. theol.), usual time 6 years.

d) Philosophiae doctor (ph. d.), the usual time 3 years.

(2) WIDE scientific College provides further education that builds on completed bachelor's degree or equivalent skills. The College also offers studies of shorter duration that build on general admission or equivalent.

section 37. Requirements for the content and composition of the bachelor's degree (1) the degree of bachelor is achieved on the basis of the exam in the subjects, subject combinations or program of study with a scope of a minimum of 180 credits.

(2) the basis for the degree should include one of the following: a) completed the 3-year course of study (180 credits) who, according to the national framework plan provides bachelor's degree.

b) completed the 3-year program of study (180 credits) that, according to the study plan provides bachelor's degree.

c) A bachelor's degree (180 credits) with specialization device on a minimum of 80 credits and a width unit at a minimum of 30 credits.

(3) in the basis of bachelor's degree should it enter into an independent work of a minimum of 12 study points range. The work can be carried out individually or in group.

(4) It is a condition that a minimum of 60 credits in a bachelor's degree, including bachelor's task, is taken at wide scientific College or pre-approved partner institution.

section 38. Requirements for the content and composition of the master's degree (1) General requirements for the degree of master is set out in regulation 1. December 2005 Nr. 1392 on the requirements to the master's degree.

(2) it is a condition that a minimum of 60 credits in a master's degree, including the master's thesis, is taken at wide scientific College.

§ 39. Requirements for the content and composition of the degree cand. theol.
(1) the degree cand. theol. (professional school of Theology) is achieved on the basis of the topics set out in the study plan for the degree with a scope of a minimum of 360 credits.

(2) it is a condition that a minimum of 120 credits in a cand. theol. degree is made at wide scientific Academy, or by other Norwegian institutions which assigns cand. theol. degree. 60 credits of the degree must be completed at wide scientific College section 40. Requirements for the content and composition of the degree ph. d. Requirements for content and composition are set out in the regulations on the degree philosophiae doctor (ph. d.) at wide scientific College.

§ 41. Overlap in subject content if a student will be considered in the topics where the content fully or partially overlap, the sum of the credits for these topics is reduced. Faculty considering the extent of the reduction in each case.

Chapter 8. Guidelines and supplementary provisions. The entry into force. Transition rules § 42. Guidelines and supplementary provisions the principal can establish guidelines and complementary provisions within the framework of this regulation.

section 43. Entry into force these regulations shall enter into force 1. January 2017.
From the same date of revocation regulations 11. December 2015 Nr. 1665 for admission, studies, examination and degrees at wide scientific College.
