Section 1.It is forbidden to use, develop, produce, erenlisting, store or transfer antipersonnel mines in violation of the Office of the Convention of 18. September 1997 about the ban on use, storage, production and transmission of antipersonnel mines and about destruction of such mines.

The king can give closer rules to fulfill Norway's obligations following the Convention.

Section 2.The persons who after the Convention shall have immunity and privilege, receive without the obstacle of Norwegian law immunity and privileges in accordance with the provisions of this Convention.

The king can give closer rules for how the regulations on immunity and privilege should be carried out.

Section 3.It can be placed in works of areas and facilities as far as it is necessary to fulfill Norway's obligations following the Convention.

The king can give closer rules about the review of such site's research.

Section 4.This Act also applies to Svalbard, Jan Mayen and the Norwegian automotive countries.
Section 5.The one that violates this law or regulation given with the home of the law is punished with fines or imprisonment for up to 2 years. Unaccuser actions are punished with fines or imprisonment for up to 6 months.

The king can in very frank cases give closer rules about exceptions from criminal prosecution in accordance with this law and military penal law of 22. May 1902, Section 107.
