Detailed rules for the provision of information as referred to in Article 13 Motor vehicle liability insurance
The Secretary of State for Transport and Water,
Having regard to Article 2 of the Decision on motor vehicle liability insurance (Stb. 1964, 380);
Decision:
The insurer or his authorised representative shall submit the information provided for in Article 13 of the Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance Act (Stb. 1984, 269), to be provided by means of magnetic tapes or floppy disks. The insurer or authorised representative with a portfolio of up to 300 posts may provide the data by computer-printed or typewriter-filled ponswitting concepts.
The provision of data by means of magnetic tapes and floppy disks may only be made by using magnetic tapes and floppy disks made available by the service.
1 The data on magnetic tape and floppy disk must be sorted by code insurer/authorised representative and by code insurer/consequentiary on mutation code, in which the order of the sorting keys must be ascending.
2 After the last record of a series with the same code insurer/plenipotentiary, a closing and a counting record must be recorded.
3 the closing record consists entirely of atsigns ('@').
4 The counting record shall contain the numbers per change code of the immediately preceding insurer/Plenipotentiary code.
Each magnetic tape and floppy disk shall be equipped with a two-age guiding debit to which a total count of all the records on the magnetic tape or floppy disk specified by the insurer/authorised representative code and the name and address of the other magnetic tape device is provided. the sender and the contact number and telephone number of the contact person must be listed.
The provision of information by means of computer-printed or typewritten ponsdrafts shall be provided on forms according to the following model:
The data should be recorded on magnetic tape, floppy disk or punch concept in the following manner:
a. Plates (positions 1 to 6):
Only Dutch marking, consisting of a two-digit combination of two-digit groups and one two-letter group, or a combination of two two-digit groups and one group of two digits;
Complete without blanks or hyphens;
b. Date of commencement (positions 7 to 12):
to be completed in the event of notification of insurance and corrections to it;
complete according to dd mm yy-model, where
dd = day
mm = month
yy = last 2-digit year;
c. Change Code (positions 13 and 14):
01 notification of insurance;
02 Cancellation of an insure notification of an insurance;
03 an adjustment to a previously notified insurance, only with respect to the data date of commencement and policy number;
04 notification of insurance, only:
in the case of the single sign-on of the current base file, or
After an earlier notification has been refused by the Road Service in relation to an inaccuracy found, or
after an earlier notification has been cancelled in connection with an inaccuracy established by the insurer or his authorised representative;
05 notice of insurance for all reasons other than notification of suspension for temporary decommissioning of a motor vehicle;
(a) the cancellation of a reassurance of an insurance which has been sent to it;
07 notice of an adjustment to an insurance reissued earlier, only in respect of the date of termination or suspension;
08 to be covered by an insurance, solely for the purpose of notification of suspension due to temporary decommissioning of a motor vehicle;
ed. Insurer code (positions 15 to 17):
code number of the insurer;
e. Code Plenipotentiary (positions 18 to 21):
code number of the authorised representative, to be completed only in the case of insurances concluded by the authorised representative;
In the case of insurance concluded by the insurer '0000';
f. Policy number (positions 22 to 37):
The letters and figures of a policy number must be placed from the left contigueless, without spaces or punctuation marks;
not required positions should remain white;
g. Termination date (positions 38 to 43):
date from the end of the insurance cover, to be completed according to the dd mm yy model;
Complete only with the declarations of delivery;
h. The positions 44 to 60 shall remain white by means of magnetic tape or floppy disk.

The Articles 1 to 5 shall not apply to the insurer or to his authorized representative to whom no designation as referred to in Article 11 (1) of the Law of 30 November 1983, amending the Liability Insurance Act, has yet been made (Stb. 1983, 613).
The insurer or his authorised representative shall submit notifications under the conditions of Article 13, first and second paragraphs, of the Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance Act to be made in writing using models established or approved by the Department of State Service for Road Traffic.
This arrangement shall enter into force from the second day following the date of issue of the Dutch Official Journal in which it is placed, and shall take effect until 1 July 1984.
