Decision of the State Secretary for Economic Affairs of 1 December 2014, No WJZ/14194325 concerning the training requirements for the care and treatment of test animals as referred to in Article 2 of the Animal Act 2014 (Decision Recognition of courses and diplomas of experimental animals)
The Secretary of State for Economic Affairs,
Having regard to Article 2, first paragraph, of the Animal Act 2014 and Article 6 of the Animal Proper Scheme 2014 ;
Decision:
For the purpose of this Decision:
a. Diploma: diploma as referred to in Article 7.4.6 of the Vocational Education Act ;
b. Certificate: certificate as intended in Article 7.11 of the Law on Higher Education and Scientific Research ;
c. degree: degree as intended in Article 7.10a of the Law on Higher Education and Scientific Research ;
ed. qualification file: qualification file within the meaning of Article 1.1.1, part 1, of the Education and Vocational Education Act ;
As a pilot-animal course, as intended Article 2 of the Animal Act 2014 , the following courses are recognised:
a. the pilot-veterinary course, organised by the University of Groningen;
b. the pilot-veterinary course, organized by Maastricht University;
c. the experimental animal science course, organized by the Radboud University Nijmegen;
d. the experimental animal science course organized by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences in Amsterdam;
e. the experimental animal science course, organized by Wageningen University, Animal Science, Department of Animal Science;
f. the pilot veterinary course, organized by Utrecht University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Dier in Science and Society, Department of Animal Welfare and Proefdierkunde;
g. the experimental animal course, organized by Leiden University, Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences;
h. the experimental animal course, organized by the Erasmus University Rotterdam, Faculty of Medicine;
i. the experimental animal science course, organized by the University of Amsterdam, Swammerdam Institute of Life Sciences, Graduate School of Molecular Neurosciences;
j. the experimental animal science course, organized by the Academic Medical Center (AMC), the University of Amsterdam, the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI), the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences in Amsterdam and Sanquin together.
As a diploma or certificate of qualification, Article 6, third paragraph, of the Animal Proper Scheme 2014 be recognised as the diploma, certificate or degree to the completion of the following training courses:
a. experimental animal carer, as described in the qualification file Proefanimals, Crebonummer 97770 and Crebonumber 95360 and in Animal Care qualification file, Crebonnumber 25449;
b. Perform experimental animal operations as intended Article 1 (i) of the Staff Regulations on green vocational education , in addition, if an in-service training for animal care has been completed at least at MBO level 3;
c. Bachelor Applied Biology, Specialization Animal Sciences, to the HAS Hogeschool;
d. bioengineer as described in the qualification file Proefanimals, Crebonummer 97780 and Crebonummer 95370 and specialist on animal care as described in the qualification file Specialised experimental animal care, Crebonnumber 25466;
e. Bachelor Biology and Medical Laboratory Research, Graduate research, minor Life Science Research, at the Hogeschool Rotterdam;
f. Bachelor Biology and Medical Laboratory Examination, graduation direction Biomedical Research, minor Proefmalian, to the Homes Polytechnic;
g. Bachelor ' s Animal Management, Graduation direction of Proefanimal Management, completed as major of minor, or graduate course Wildlife Management, minor Verreply animal use in field research, to the Hogeschool Van Hall Larenstein;
h. Bachelor Biology and Medical Laboratory Research, graduation Zoology, at the Hogeschool Utrecht;
i. Master Veterinary Medicine at the University of Utrecht;
j. specialization animal experimental research, graduate course Biology and medical laboratory examination, Crohonummer 34397, at the Leiden University of Hogeschool.
1 One in Article 1 of the Conditions of Recognition of Qualifications Animal-decision Diploma in the course of a pilot-care training course obtained before 1 July 2013 shall be established on the basis of a diploma as referred to in Article 3 (2). Article 3 (a) (b) and (c) The other diplomas listed in Article 1 of the Conditions of Recognition of Diplomas shall be assimilated to the diplomas and degrees referred to in Article 3 (d) to (i) prior to the date of entry into force of this Decision.
2 A diploma for the training of animal and veterinary medicine at the Groenhorstcollege Barneveld, obtained before 1 August 2015, shall be the subject of an additional training in the field of Animal Care, Horse Husbandry, Livestock or Animal Health, at least at MBO level. Completed, assimilated to a diploma referred to in Article 3 (b) .
3 A certificate as intended Article 1a of the Conditions of Recognition of Qualifications Animal-decision , obtained before 1 July 2013, shall be assimilated to a diploma as referred to in Article 3 .
4 One in Article 2 of the Decision approving training and training for animal treatment and treatment Diploma awarded before the entry into force of this Decision shall be established on the basis of a diploma as referred to in Article 3 .
This Decision shall enter into force from the day following the date of issuance of the Official Journal in which it is placed.
This decision is referred to as: Recognition of courses and diplomas of trial animals.
This Decision will be published in the Official Journal.
