Decision of 6 October 2010 No 10.002770, laying down the ingredients of the five-and ten-euro coins which is issued in 2010 with the theme 'The Netherlands and Water (works)'

We Beatrix, at the grace of God, Queen of the Netherlands, Princess of Orange-Nassau, etc. etc. etc.

On the nomination of Our Minister of Finance dated 29 September 2010, FM/2010/17253 M, Generale Thesaurie, Executive Board Financial Markets, Department General and International;

Having regard to Article 4, second paragraph, of the Muntwet 2002 ;

Have found good and understand:

  • 1 The figurines of the five and ten euro coins issued in 2010 with the theme 'The Netherlands and Water (works)' is:

    • a. on the front side, in accordance with the following figure: in the upper half Our image with as edge caption undercut by a pearl edge the text "BEATRIX QUEEN OF THE NETHERLANDS" and in the lower half mirror image Our image with as Edge caption underlaid by a pearl edge in mirror image the text "BEATRIX QUEEN OF THE NETHERLANDS";

    • b. On the reverse side, according to the following pictures: in the middle surrounded by a pearly edge a picture of the Netherlands with in the lower half the value designation "5 euro" and "10 euro", under the word "euro" the year "2010", entirely below from left to right headed the mark of the Mint

      , in a circle in mirror script the initials of the design star "et", a star and the sign of the Muntmeester

  • 2 The five-euro coin has a smooth edge and carries the edge letdown "GOD * SHE * WITH * ONS".

  • 3 The ten-euro coin has a fine-ribbed edge.

This Decision shall enter into force from the day following the date of issuance of the Official Journal in which it is placed.

Our Minister of Finance is in charge of the implementation of this decision, which will be placed in the Official Gazette and the State Gazette.
