Decision of 15 June 2011 laying down the items of coins of five and the ten euro to be issued in 2011 on the occasion of 100 years of building

We Beatrix, at the grace of God, Queen of the Netherlands, Princess of Orange-Nassau, etc. etc. etc.

On the nomination of Our Minister of Finance dated 7 June 2011, FM/2011/9010 M, Generale Thesaurie, Executive Board Financial Markets, Department of Institutional Policy and Integritite;

Having regard to Article 4, second paragraph, of the Muntwet 2002 ;

Have found good and understand:

  • 1 The figurines of the five and ten euro coins issued in 2011 on the occasion of 100 years of Muntgebouw are:

    • a. on the front side, according to the following figure: in the middle Our image with above in a flower list is the text "BEATRIX QUEEN OF THE NETHERLANDS", on the left and on the right two heads, a young person and an older employee of the Mint represents and is shown in the image of cherubijntje; in the outer circle different elements and symbols of the Coin building are depicted and in the inner circle on the upper left the mercurius staff, in the upper right of a basket of coins, right under the bridge next to the Muntgebouw and left under a melting furnace;

    • b. on the flip side, according to the following pictures: in the middle an old minx with below in a coded text built from a 3d line game the year 2011 with left the sign of the Muntmeester

      and on the right the sign of the Mint

      , above the sign of the Muntmeester the value designation "5 EURO" and "10 EURO" respectively; the left hand of the mints forms the number "100" and the right grip is the word "year" with the word "COIN", the window below it symbolizes the Whole construction work; a digital square barcode is depicted between the mints of the coin, with the coat of arms of Queen Wilhelmina above, above in Roman numerals the year 1911, and on the left and right side of it two Tile motifs from the old Muntmaster room, the Orange apple and the Dutch lion.

  • 2 The five-euro coin has a smooth edge and carries the edge letdown "GOD * SHE * WITH * US *".

  • 3 The ten-euro coin has a fine-ribbed edge.

This Decision shall enter into force from the day following the date of issuance of the Official Journal in which it is placed.

Our Minister of Finance is in charge of the implementation of this decision, which will be placed in the Official Gazette and the State Gazette.
