Whereas it is important that the registers of the deceased persons, drawn up pursuant to the Ordonnance of the Order of Succession of 4 October 1805 and under the Royal Decree of 23 January 1824, are subject to the custody of the officials of the the civilian bodies set up, to the Algemeine National Archives. Have found good and understand:
with revocation of the Royal Decree of 23 January 1824 and of our decision of 18 September 1919 ( State Sheet n ° 576), to be determined as follows:
The registers of the deceased, made up under the Ordonnance of the Order of Succession, omnipresent in the Batavian municipality, from 4 October 1805, will be transferred to the State Archives, located in the The seat of the municipality is situated, where the official of the civil bodies is established by means of which registers are currently held.
The Article 1 the registers are to be made under the Rijksarchivist, which is responsible for the management of the State Archives, where those records will be transferred.
